Our Community Development Department recognizes the outstanding efforts of individuals, groups, and youth who provide exemplary volunteer service every year at our Volunteer Awards celebration.
Volunteer Nominations 2026
The West Hants Regional Municipality Community Development Department is seeking nominations for our Annual Volunteer Recognition Event in September. These volunteers may be individuals within your organization or others whom you feel are representative of volunteerism. From all nominations, Council chooses one volunteer to represent West Hants Regional Municipality at the Provincial Volunteer Awards. Please note individuals may not nominate themselves.
