The Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) is a committee of municipal Councillors and appointed members of the public which provides advice to Council on the preparation, amendment or revision of planning documents, development agreements and planning matters generally. PAC reviews staff recommendations regarding applications for Municipal Planning Strategy and Land Use By-law amendments and development agreements before the applications are considered by Council. The West Hants PAC also serves as the Heritage Advisory Committee (HAC).

The West Hants PAC meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm in the Sanford Council Chambers, West Hants Municipal Building, 76 Morison Drive, Windsor-West Hants Industrial Park, Wentworth Creek, and all PAC meetings are open to the public.
