We recognize the valued contributions provided through the volunteer efforts of community organizations and agencies on behalf of its citizens and Council is committed to assisting organizations which provide beneficial programs, services or projects to our communities.

The Community Trail Funding program supports community organizations in the maintenance and development of trails for public use. For more information please click here:

Barrier Free Small Business Accessibility
The West Hants Regional Municipality wishes to support small businesses in making physical improvements that enhance accessibility for people with disabilities. The program aims to reduce barriers to access, promotes inclusion, and ensures that all community members can fully benefit from and support local small businesses.
