Getting to know a new community is a bit like learning a new language… there are nicknames, hidden hangouts, local legends, and all those “you just have to know” spots. That’s where West Hants Welcome Wheels comes in.
Hop on board and let our community champions show you around—from the well-loved favourites to the tucked-away treasures. You’ll explore the nooks and crannies, pick up the local lingo, and start to feel like an insider in no time.
WHO: This bus tour is reserved for adults only (14 years and older are welcome with a responsible adult). All individuals must be a resident of West Hants, who have moved here within the past five years. Registration is required*.
WHAT/WHEN: There are two bus tours coming up:
- Saturday, August 22 2026: Avondale and the Hants Shore.
- Saturday, October 17 2026: Vaughan and Hantsport.
The pick-up location for both dates is the Windsor Community Centre, 9:00am. The drop off location also Windsor Community Centre, approximately 12:45pm.
These bus tours are free and include a complimentary coffee, tea, or water with a mid-morning sweet treat. Please feel free to bring your own snacks and water.

Registrations are accepted until October 15th, or until the bus is full (34 seats are available per bus). After you submit this form, Kathy will follow up with you, by email, to confirm your space on the bus OR on the waitlist.
