Plan Review Engagement Sessions

West Hants Plan Review graphic. Drop-in sessions: June 3, 3-6pm at the Falmouth Community Hall, and June 5, 3-6pm, at the Brooklyn Fire Hall. The Virtual Open House will be at 6pm on June 2.

 

Join our Planning & Development Department to discuss proposed regional policies at one of the public open houses or the virtual open house.

Public Open Houses will provide residents and stakeholders with an opportunity to drop in and discuss with staff.
• June 3rd: Falmouth Community Hall, 147 Falmouth Back Rd, 3:00pm-6:00pm (drop in at any time)
• June 5th: Brooklyn Fire Department, 995 Highway 215, 3:00pm-6:00pm (drop in at any time)

The Virtual Open House will be a chance to learn about the proposed policies and ask questions to staff:

Road closure notice

PLEASE BE ADVISED:
The Department of Transportation have shared a road closure notice for Woodville Rd & MacKay Rd Intersection in Ashdale, West Hants. As part of on-going construction work for the Little Meander Bridge on MacKay Rd. a roadway closure is required at the intersection of Woodville Rd and MacKay Rd to facilitate the delivery of three girders on Monday, May 26, 2025. Traffic will be stopped for approximately 5 minutes per girder, with intermittent closures occurring between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Traffic control persons and signage will be present.
