2024 WINDSOR GARLIC FEST

Great news! Plans are underway for the 2024 Garlic Fest in downtown Windsor. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Garlic Festival which moved from Avondale to Windsor in 2022. Last years street fair was a great success. A BIG thank you to Kathy Monroe, for her continued guidance as we move forward with this year’s event, sponsored by the West Hants Regional Municipality with support from the Windsor Township Business Association.
As always, the Garlic Fest will be held on the third Saturday in September. This year’s date is September 14, 2024.
This FREE event is open to the public from 11 am to 5 pm. This year, we welcome Ginger to the festival.
The 2024 Garlic Fest will have all the same events that has made it so popular, including:
- the juried art fair
- garlic and ginger product vendor area
- live music all day
- garlic and ginger cooking demonstrations
- garlic and ginger lectures
- contests (including the garlic eating contest at 4 pm)
- wonderful food vendors
- wine/ale/spirits vendors
- local restaurants will have garlic based menus
- garlic and ginger ice cream
The West Hants Regional Municipality remains committed to producing this event at the highest quality.
The Garlic Fest is a cornerstone of our region’s fall event series, which also includes the first weekend of the Hants County Exhibition, September 13-15, 2024.
